What is a Trust?
A Trust is an arrangement in which property is given to an individual or entity, but controlled by a Trustee.
There are a number of reasons you'd appoint another person or entity to manage your Beneficiary's property. For example, perhaps the property is financially complex, the beneficiary is a minor child, you are trying to protect property from creditors, or you are trying to avoid probate.
